Design Exercise from 2019

Tools Used during Project: Pencil and Paper, Google Drive (PDF), Adobe Photoshop, MS Word

One of the Job Interviews I participated in in 2019 had a 3-hour design exercise to complete as part of the interview process.

The main task was to integrate two websites, one which is to sell apps and the other which is to sell the add-ons. Being an avid gamer on both Console and PC, I pulled inspiration from the Steam Library and Store Web Application. Part of the project was to draw up wireframes and then on part of the page shows a visual design treatment. I am used to hand drawing wireframes with pencil and paper to allow for rapid prototyping with minimal attachment to my work so I can make quick changes to my ideas. I then used Adobe Illustrator to develop my visual design treatment.
